GSL was established in the year 1955 under the name of Swatantar mechanical works. The Company under the chairmanship of Ajit Singh Swatantar, ventured into the textile world by manufacturing Carding machines.
During 1980’s, the Company was renamed as GSL Textile India Pvt Ltd.
