During October 2009, GSL achieved a milestone by establishing technical partnership with the German Company HEUSCH GmbH & Co. KG, located at Aachen, Germany.

HEUSCH is the oldest Manufacturer of Textile and Leather Processing Blades. Headquartered at Aachen, Germany and established in the year 1850, it has been a leading supplier of all Blade types and dimensions to the Global Textile and Leather market. HEUSCH also manufactures complete high-capacity Shaving and Fleshing Cylinders, with precision techniques. HEUSCH business extends across 50 countries globally spanning Asian, European, American and African continents. Textile and Leather put together, there are 140 HEUSCH product distributors globally and supplies the products to all Shearing machine manufacturers in the World. HEUSCH current Export rate is @95%. HEUSCH is already a key player in the Indian market.

The collaboration means GSL will exclusively use the HEUSCH products and technology for the Shearing process. GSL will also serve as the sales and service center for HEUSCH products in the Asian market. And to the Customers it means getting the best in the shearing technology.

Highlight: With the collaboration and technical help from HEUSH, GSL has developed a 3.6mm Computerized Shearing machine, the first in Asia and 4th in the World.
